About our family:   We are a small family located in Magnolia.  We moved to Seattle last year so we’re quite new to the area.  Parents love to travel, eat good food, go on long walks and watch movies.  We have 2 boys who we adore and would do everything for, well everything that would be good for them.

Children: 2 boys ! (3 year old and 3 month old) Care will be a mixture of sole charge and shared care. Our eldest child is a happy, friendly and highly personable little boy, but is a fussy eater and stubbornly refuses attempts at potty training .  He is coping well with the arrival of his baby brother who is a healthy robust baby and in a good sleep and feed routine.  He does however suffer from some digestive discomfort and suspected milk allergies.

What we desire in a nanny: The family is seeking a long term experienced nanny who can work with us to ensure that both children benefit from focused attention and general nursery duties.  As mom does not drive, we are keen that the nanny will be able to assist with trips to the library, classes, and local museums and other activities requiring driving.  We’re looking for someone who can partner with us in providing positive discipline and help us raise confident, independent and social children.   Additional duties include tidying up children’s rooms, doing children’s laundry, and preparing children’s meals.

Location:  Magnolia

Start date: ASAP- looking for a long term nanny

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with occasional flexibility for parent date nights and other events

Hourly rate: $25, 40 hours a week guaranteed

Additional benefits: Health care stipend, 4 weeks paid time off (2 weeks of nanny’s choice, 2 weeks family’s choice), accrued paid sick time, taxes withheld, paid holidays(New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas), Overtime pay as needed

Requirements: CPR+Infant CPR/First Aid certifications, valid drivers license, clean driving record and background check, 3 glowing references, there might be some holiday travel required for trips around the US and the UK, Comfortable driving children (family car provided), non smoker, up to date on vaccination.
